1. Using the site

The tools on converterqr.com are free to use, for personal or commercial purposes, with no account required. You do not need permission to use converted output in your own work — the files you convert are yours, and nothing here claims any rights over them.

2. Your files remain yours

Conversion happens entirely in your browser. No file is received, stored or processed by this site or its operator, so no rights over your content are acquired and none are claimed. You are responsible for having the right to convert whatever you convert.

3. No warranty

The tools are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind. Conversion between file formats is inherently imperfect: formatting can be lost, quality can degrade, and some files will not convert at all. Nothing here is guaranteed to be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or error-free.

Stated plainly: keep your originals. Do not treat a converted file as a replacement for the source until you have checked it. This is sensible practice with any conversion tool, not just this one.

4. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of this site, including data loss, corrupted output, lost profits or business interruption. Since the site is free and never receives your files, your remedy for a conversion that goes wrong is to stop using it.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use this site to process content you have no right to process, to infringe anyone's rights, or for any unlawful purpose. Do not attempt to disrupt the site or the services it depends on. Since everything runs locally, most misuse harms only your own browser, but the terms still apply.

6. Availability and changes

The site may change, break, or become unavailable without notice. Features may be added or removed. There is no service level commitment, because it is a free tool rather than a paid service.

One consequence worth noting: QR codes made here are static, so codes you have already generated keep working permanently regardless of what happens to this site. That is by design — see static versus dynamic codes.

7. Third parties

The site loads conversion libraries from public code networks, web fonts from Google, and advertising from Google AdSense. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices, described in the privacy policy. Links to external sites are provided for convenience and imply no endorsement.

8. Advertising

The site is funded by advertising. Advertisements are served by third parties and their content is not selected, reviewed or endorsed by the operator. Dealings with any advertiser are between you and them.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, where the operator is based. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your own country of residence.
